That’s what a new Santander Consumer USA video provides.

The company’s new Mesa, AZ, call center officially opened recently with several hundred customer-service associates with plans to grow to nearly 1,000.

While the video shows a “growing, prosperous” company, SC officials left no doubt about its purpose.

“Most people every single day are going to solve our customers’ problems. They’re going to help them with their challenges. They’re going to put a smile on their face. Those are the things that really matter,” said Jason Kulas, Santander CEO, in an interview amid the opening activities.

“The heart of everything we do every day is our customer and our employee,” said Rich Morrin, SC chief operating officer. “We have to make sure that everything we do as an organization is focused on aligning to ensure that both of those groups feel very good about what we’re doing as an organization.”

Because, ultimately, officials said, Santander Consumer USA’s customers and associates will determine whether the vehicle-finance company continues to grow and prosper.
