Winner.
It’s a description that could be used for 46 of the top-rated SUVs and trucks for 2020 at Edmunds.com, ranging from extra-small SUVs to luxury plug-in hybrid SUVs and heavy-duty pickups.
It might be just the place to start if you’re shopping for a new vehicle that isn’t a car.
“The hottest new vehicles of the year tend to get all the buzz, but newer doesn’t always equal better,” said Alistair Weaver, editor-in-chief at Edmunds.
The Top Rated Awards represent the best vehicles on sale today, according to Edmunds, an automotive research website, and are the result of thousands of hours of testing on the track and in the real world. Including “a 115-mile real-world test loop of city streets, freeways and winding canyons.”
