Why is LendingClub changing their name to Happen Bank?
When LendingClub was founded in 2006, “LendingClub” described what they did – lending (only). Today, they do so much more and have chosen a name that better describes everything they offer and why they exist: to clear the way for people going places. To help them make it happen.
Is there anything about my account that changes with the LendingClub to Happen Bank rebrand?
There are no changes to your account numbers, the terms and conditions of your account or your linked accounts. You’ll continue to receive the same products and services you’ve come to know and love – just under a new name.
Where do I go if I have more questions about the LendingClub to Happen Bank rebrand?
You can visit meethappen.com to learn more about the rebrand.
What is the difference between my annual percentage rate (APR) and my interest rate?
The interest rate is the periodic rate applied to the principal balance on the loan while the APR is the cost of your credit as an annual rate, which includes interest plus other finance charges such as the origination fee.
Why was an origination fee assessed on my loan?
Origination fees are assessed on loans to cover costs associated with processing and issuing your loan. Unfortunately, they cannot be waived.
I set up automatic payments during the application process. Will this carry over to my new account?
Yes. After your loan has been onboarded to our servicing system, within 72 hours your Auto Pay enrollment will be set up, which is a few weeks ahead of your first scheduled payment. Once you have registered for MyAccount, you will also see the option “Manage Auto Pay” to validate that your automatic payments transferred, make modifications or cancel your Auto Pay. If you have not set up Auto Pay, you will have the opportunity to “Set up Auto Pay” on the MyAccount home page.

How do I secure the lien on my vehicle as required by my contract?
The Happen Bank team will handle securing the lien under their name. Please look for emails in case a required document for lien placement is missing or needs to be completed. If required documents are not received, it can impact their ability to add the lien, which can result in impacts to vehicle registration, delays with insurance payouts in the event of a total loss, title release, etc. Once your vehicle is paid off, we will release the title and interest to you.
