What are my next steps?

In most cases you won’t need to do anything except change where you send your payment. See our payment options. You will receive a letter with a new account number before your account is converted to a Santander Consumer USA account.

If you are using a Bill Pay service, you will need to cancel the existing Bill Pay schedule that is set to send payments to Gateway One. Then, create a new Bill Pay schedule to send your payments to Santander Consumer USA. Account details needed to create a new Bill Pay schedule will be provided on your first statement.

If you currently utilize Gateway’s automatic bank draft to make your monthly payment, you do not need to take any action. Your regularly scheduled automatic payment has transferred to Santander.

If you do not currently have an Auto Pay schedule, you may set one up at Santander Consumer USA by enrolling at MyAccount.
